I was sweeping the web for happy spruce-related Christmas news when I stumbled upon this gem. The words this leader is saying to his country disturbs me to my core. I am still in shock. This is what we are up against, friends.

Well, yes, but on the other hand it's also pretty funny. I'm sending it out to my email list.

My best friend is from Ghana. Ghana is slowly being taken over by muslims, and not the 'religion of peace' sort either, according to my friend. She is a christian. For a long time Ghana was predominantly christian. Not anymore.

Acording to the CIA World Factbook, the religions of Ghana break down as follows: indigenous beliefs 21%, Muslim 16%, Christian 63%.
I'm not quite sure why the Pres is focusing so heavily on a pretty small minority.

It has been said that in a blind country the one-eyed man is king...
...So it should be obvious that in a brainless society, a half-wit should lead.

Ghana is surrounded by countries that are now breeding grounds for awful terrorists of all kinds, esp. Burkin Faso, and Ivory Coast. Maybe he's preparing for the future?

Didn't the President of Ghana also spelled his name incorrectly at he end of the letter?
Is it J. A. Fukuor or J. A. Kufuor?

I thought this part was extremely funny:
Countrymen and women, loyalists and opponents, this has been a week of feasts for me. I have eaten different types of meat. smoked, fried, roasted, grilled, barbecued and salted. Thank Allah for Ramadan and Eid-ul-Fitr. It's that time of the year again and I have to be very careful not to gain any extra weight. As a president, and an African one as that, you have to check your weight and make sure that you are fit to run. just in case an adventurous and overzealous but ignorant Kalashnikov-wielding man in uniform decides to decide for the whole nation that ballot boxes are not useful anymore.

I thought it might be an Onion but we can't post them no more. Truth is funnier then fiction. Any one remember the ugly drunk American in China who groped the woman on the bus? I was sure that was an onion but it wasn't.
