Bordeaux, Jefferson St around Meharry or Tennessee State, the projects area around Murfreesboro road and I-40.
I believe the Hopewell community around here near my office is considered not great.
However, I will drive thru any part of Nashville at night without much trouble. There is a fair amount of white bubba crime as well as a growing Mexican crime problem but those don't make the areas unsafe exactly. White bubbas and Mexicans are less likely here to be predatory and are more conflict motivated.

Dang! I missed all the fun.
Those of us who weren't able to attend this high level meeting expect a full report, and don't leave anything out...not even low down and dirty details.
Especially low down and dirty details. ;o)
Seriously, I hope y'all had a great time.

All that really needs to be said concerning my meeting w/ Wardaddy is that it was
an historic meeting of the [twisted] minds. pictures to follow....BTW.
DC2k--The only thing 'dirty' about our meeting was that it took place in WD's office, which could use a little cleaning. :-)

I spent the first 23 years of my life in Atlanta -- which is #3 on the list -- and never once did I have any problems, not even as a teenager when I would go out and about the city at night. In fact, I often return to Atlanta, and, again, I have never had any problems there. But in the past 5 years since I have been in Nashville I have had to file 7 police reports!
To: Fraulein; bourbon; WKB
Oddly, bourbon and I were just talking yesterday about Atlanta and how Buckhead has become exponentially more dangerous at night from our own experiences and those related from others.
My only problems here in Nashville have been with surly white trash in my businesses and theft there as well..and again from white trash....which these days does not mean pick-up truck rednecks but rather burrheaded baggy pants white wannabe gangsta imposters. I seem to have an inherent clash with that sort admittedly while I get on fine with the black real thang bros.
I have not had a fight with a black youth in years actually although from a violent crime perspective that disproportionately commit most of that here.
I think they know that I am a middle aged redneck and that I am armed....lol. Sadly, I suppose I'm that transparent...plus where I reside is far insulated from such problems thankfully...sort of like living in Roswell or Alpharetta as opposed to College Park.
However, our hometown of Jackson Mississippi has become as bad as it gets....something along the lines of Kingston Jamaica and everyone law abiding or otherwise with any sense at all is armed at all times.
