Oh my goodness. You're incredible! :-)
Thank you!

I don't think we want to do that. Too many trolls sign up with names that are common misspellings.I think I get you. Trolls might actually add usernames that are misspellings on purpose to defeat the spellchecker.
Gotchya.

Do you always post your own username when replying? Laz likes to post in the third-person fairly often, I guess ;)

Yes indeed. I ended up writing a new module, HTML::SpellCheck, with Text::Aspell as the centerpiece. I should get around to uploading it to CPAN some day.

"We have SPELL CHECK" ROTFL! We do???? Mo, we won't be able to understand your posts any more if you use spell check! We will be certain an alien has invaded and taken over your body!
I never use spellcheck anyway, so it won't make much difference to me. It will be interesting to see if some people bother though. I know a lot of people have whined about that one for a long time.
John, I have to commend you and Jim for making the effort to keep everybody happy. Must be quite a job dealing with having 100,000 or so people whining about something all the time. Great work. So far I haven't found anything to whine about with the new features...but I'm working on it. Just kidding. Great work, John. Just want to say again, your effort is much appreciated.

All those big meals and pints make us sleepy.
Well, Miss Hair, I'm definitely not a hobbit then because in my case I know it's old age and general decrepitude.
Also a desire to escape the depredations of the Whyisa...
Oh, all right, it's the big meals and pints too.

Check the tagline. I can't. When I post this, and check the spelling, it suggests a host of possibilities for "tagline". Perhaps you really meant "tingling" after all, but if you're tingling, I think you ought to check it yourself, or have it examined by a qualified medical doctor...

Can you set the default search option to 'by post time' rather than 'by relevance'... it would make searching for 'current articles' much easier.

You didn't read the post for this thread, did ya? :-)
You can now search by time or relevance from the latest posts. And it remembers what your last search was and defaults to that. So NOW order by time can be your default search setting.

Yes indeed. I ended up writing a new module, HTML::SpellCheck, with Text::Aspell as the centerpiece. I should get around to uploading it to CPAN some day. Any closer to WYSIWYG? You could do a server side browser check before loading it.

Side bar color choices look good! (The Civil War buffs will appreciate the blue and the grey)

Neat changes, caught me by surprise.
Especially when I, without really paying attention, hit the "spell" button and wondered why it didn't post yet.
I figured it out that there was an update plot in effect fairly quickly.
Yah got me, fair and square.
Add a grey "D" to the side of the server case as a mark for the 'kill board'.
*chuckle*
Have a good one, I'll be browsing the new features.
