Actually, you can fill in the blank with virtually any racial, ethnic, economic or social group that you like.
The fact of the matter is that "a group of cowards" is required before they are willing to assault an individual.
Okay we have established a crime occurred. Now what are the mitigating circumstances that show the basis was not racial? Was the victim robbed? Raped? If not then what was the motivation for the attack? Come on deputy, sounds like you are part of the coverup/agenda.
Cornell refuses second request for police reportITHACA -- Cornell University has again refused to grant access to reports regarding an assault that occurred after a hip-hop concert.
Despite an appeal to Cornell's initial denial of a Freedom of Information Request, Cornell University has stated that it is not subject to such requests because it is a private institution.
In early November, the Ithaca Journal submitted a Freedom of Information request to Cornell asking for documentation, including Cornell Police reports, of the alleged assault that occurred outside of Barton Hall.
Five days later, The Ithaca Journal received a denial to the Freedom of Information request. In the letter, Simeon Moss, Deputy Director of Cornell News Service said Cornell is not an agency of government subject to the New York Freedom of Information Law.
In contrast, Robert Freeman, executive director of New York State Committee on Open Government, said reports from Cornell Police are subject to the Freedom of Information Law because members of the Cornell Police are deputized through the Tompkins County Sheriff's Office and perform government functions such as arrests.
The Ithaca Journal submitted to Cornell University News Service an appeal to their denial of the original Freedom of Information Request. On Nov. 26, Cornell responded again stating that they believed the University is not subject to such requests.
The Ithaca Journal has submitted a request for an advisory opinion to the Committee on Open Government.
Cornell maintains that no hate crime occurred. If so, why won't they release the report?
Gee, sometimes I wonder if we [Cornell alum freepers] ideologically fit into this same category...
