The cretin will be 78 years old before he's considered for parole. Euro-trash justice. Provided some Islamofascists don't take some hostages and demand his release...

Aye, and he comes up regularly for parole. In theory, he could be released by the parole board.

Provided some Islamofascists don't take some hostages and demand his release... God forbid, but you are right.

Put him out in the middle of a vacant lot and give us the GPS coordinates accurate to within seven meters.
We'll give him the death penalty, all right.

God's sake!! This is getting riciculous our maximum life sentence over here in the UK is 25 years. You yanks should know that by now!! I am pleased he got 27 years I was in a shop when the news was announced and everybody said 'GOOD!!' and clapped there hands. Believe me if the death penalty here existed he would be in it!! Nelson Mandela also campaigned for better comfort in his cell we the Brits said no and lost faith in the former South Africa president. To me revenge couldn't be more sweeter for the people of the Lockerbie and I only live in a hamlet a few miles away from the site! Lybian inteligence has been humiliated yet again!

Visitors to his ground floor suite have included former South African president Nelson Mandela and UN Secretary General Kofi Annan.
The statesmen visited to check the prisoner's conditions and Mr Mandela discussed a campaign to move him to a prison in his own country.
A framed photo of Mandela seated with Al Megrahi on the cell's sofa takes pride of place on the desk. Or maybe Mandela just stopped by out of a nostalgic hankering for a little man-love, Oz-style. I guess Kofi just visited becuse he's evil.
