"I will second that statement and just add one more. If and when this movement gains any serious credibility, it will be the LAST straw before JUDGMENT befalls America and any other nation that practices the same. It reminds me of the scripture "being WISE in THEIR OWN EYES, they became FOOLS"!!

Total agreement. In Terri's fight the death culture wants a test case to give them legal precedents to kill more widely.

But it's also a test case for this nation, to determine how it is to be judged. It'ss being tried before the highest court and highest judge in the universe. I've been completely certain about that since the first day I heard about Terri.

"Thanks for posting. Wish we could wake up the Catholics to this one."

From what I've seen, it has been many Catholics as individuals who've been on the front lines for Terri. (And this Baptist admires and supports them.)

AMERICAUNITED WROTE: "When they pulled the feeding tubes on _______, I did not speak out because I was not _______"

EXCELLENT observation! Did you come up with that series of statements or did you find them somewhere? I would like to quote them in a letter to the editor and other places. If they are your words, may I quote you?

It was my retro-fitting of the immortal words of Pastor Niemoller during his time in Nazi Germany, to this situation. Use whatever you want freely.

First they came for the communists, and I did not speak out because I was not a communist;
Then they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out because I was not a socialist;
Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out because I was not a trade unionist;
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out because I was not a Jew;
Then they came for me and there was no one left to speak out for me.

My mistake about the lawyer type. (I thought that you were the freeper with the husband that was a lawyer, in which case a ping would have been ok.) Sorry 'bout that!

"You're right. I wish there were more good Catholic articles about Terri. There are so many "Catholic" groups these days that have little in common with the Church in Rome."

I ran across an old article today at a Catholic website, that I enjoyed reading, and expressed some thoughts that I have previously expressed here, as well. I am Protestant, so of course, I did not agree with that part. But the Freemasonry part is dead-on, and should be shouted to the rooftops. In fact I posted a comment on that recently, and now find that that excellent site I gave a link to for exposing that Trojan Horse is, today, not available (exceeded its bandwidth, so they say. If it is not receiving massive hits from inquiring minds, than I suspect it struck a nerve somewhere, I am inclined to say. I hope everything's alright there. They were stepping on BIG toes.) I am passing this article along in case you had not seen it.

I am a former MS Lutheran, have attended Methodist and SBaptist churches (the Baptist was my favorite, but the masonic symbols on the altar required me to leave), and I will never be a Catholic, but I also appreciate what the pro-life Catholics are doing. And there are many of them!

Hbr 10:16 This [is] the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;

Jhn 17:11 And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we [are].

Jhn 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
http://www.blueletterbible.org/tsk_b/Jhn/17/17.html

Jhn 17:21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, [art] in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.

Jhn 17:22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:

Jhn 17:23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me. http://www.blueletterbible.org/tsk_b/Jhn/17/23.html

Jhn 17:26 And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare [it]: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them. http://www.blueletterbible.org/tsk_b/Jhn/17/26.html

1Jo 4:12No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us. http://www.blueletterbible.org/tsk_b/1Jo/4/12.html

1Cr 13:13 And now abideth faith, hope, charity [LOVE], these three; but the greatest of these [is] charit [LOVE].

Jam 2:8 If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well: http://www.blueletterbible.org/tsk_b/Jam/2/8.html

*** Gal 6:2 Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. http://www.blueletterbible.org/tsk_b/Gal/6/2.html

1Jo 4:7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. http://www.blueletterbible.org/tsk_b/1Jo/4/7.html

Events make me wonder if we are entering the final harvest. I added the above passages for those who might be sitting on the fence. God said His Word would not return to Him void.
