Chris Matthews had to eat his words about how going into Iraq was the wrong thing to do. BIG TIME

"the great success that is Iraq after the fall of Saddam Hussein. "Sounds good - let's get the hell out before they change their minds.

What amazes me is how MAthews simply ignores what Arnot is telling him and moves on to his preconceived notions as to the outcome of President Bush's intervention in Iraq.
It is living, breathing cognitive dissonance of the extreme kind.

Each and every member of the liberal media should be ashamed. But they're not.

Yes, it is. That won't stop the Liberal Lemming Media from lying about it, though.
They're the very definition of bigoted fanatics.

Sounds to me like the Iraqi people, as well as the majority of American people are fed up with the liberal media. We never buy a liberal rag, nor watch their liberal, dreadful TV. In this household, we read FreeRepublic (the best), watch FoxNews, listen to Rush, listen to Sean and read NewsMax (although their drop-downs, or whatever you call them are making reading it almost impossible).

Thank you for the kind words, and for taking the time to set a CNN viewer straight.
This article is so good it's worth a repost. Back tomorrow to pick it up for my homepage, with the new date . ( :

What's amazing is that Matthews even did this story, and allowd Bob to tell the truth.
It is something I would have hoped to see on Fox, before they went Tele-tabloid.

Now the Iraqis understand why we hate our "liberal" media.
We have a press that distorts what they do report, either by spending an inordinate amount of time on sensationalist nonsense, ignoring important issues altogether, or twisting the truth into a parody of itself to meet a "progressive" agenda.
We have various legislators from the local level to the federal level who are too concerned about reelection than serving the people, abdicating their lawmaking role to the judiciary, who are only too happy to foist their follies on good, hardworking folk.
