Here's an article on the Deed of Trust doings. Notice how the existing mortgage is ignored. The $100,000. lien put on the property is in addition to the existing mortgage, which is likely in excess of $150,000. It looks like there may be some attempt to say that the Petersons are just liening less than half the value of the property. That, of course, is bunk when the existing mortgage is figured in.

"Under the state Probate Code, a joint tenant who feloniously and intentionally kills another joint tenant has no rights by survivorship."
Ahhh. I feel better now. So if he is proved to have feloniously and intentionally killed his joint tenant, he has NO RIGHTS by survivorship. So if he has no rights by survivorship, Scott's collateral is no good.

Great job, RG. What a wonderful thing you have done!

The Peterson's NEVER cease to DISGUST me!! They are deceitful and schemers. It appears to me that they really, when it comes right down to it, had no real love for Laci and THEIR almost born grandson.

Exactly!! Thank God RG contacted the Rocha's. I still remember when the Rocha's decided to TAKE Laci's stuff, that Jackie Peterson had the unmitigated gall to state " They had NO RIGHT to break into OUR house"!! Recall??? Also, was it not HER who wanted Laci's Diamond Ring back.? Greedy Bitch!! Engagement rings aren't one of those things given back when a marriage ends.

I don't think they would call on anyone from Modesto or immediately surrounding counties. Perhaps San Jose or somewhere about that distance away in any direction from Modesto. Truth is tho, WHO hasn't heard lots about this case? I believe they will need to be very cautious in selecting Jurors.

Grubby hands at work huh.
Wonder what Scoot had for Turkey Dinner. Maybe Canned gel turkey, mashed tator flakes made with water and a stale roll with reduced to clear Costco pumkin pie and a dallop of stale whip cream. Room temp. milk. Not exactly Laci's cooking. Idiot.

Agreed. Amber could well have used more sense about now. In this day and age, there is NO need to keep getting knocked up IF your going to be sexually active while single. I had higher hopes for her than this. I DO believe she is a lonely girl, desperate to find love and have a real family. She unfortunately doesn't seem to have a clue how to go about it. At the moment however, I just want her to be a good witness concerning her dealings with Peterson. I'm not so sure that the Defense is going to want to open the "morals" door on Peterson. If they do this on Amber, then the Prosecution should be able to bring in ALL of Peterson's former bad acts. Messy no matter which way you look at it.

LOL, I can relate, I'm a pack rat too. Takes me ages to clear out stuff, "just in case" you know, I might need it again.! HA! I store all the boxes of those "maybe needed" things in my garage.

Hard to unchange after all the stuff I think I needed to resort back to, but with the limitations time lines except IRS, most is obsolete to hang onto...lol.. Next is my closet..YIKES!!!
