I lived in a little town, Ardley, near RAF Upper Heyford (where I was stationed) in Oxfordshire from 1988 to 1992. Miss the winter brew at the free houses during this time of year. I also miss my pub, and the outstanding curries I got in Brackley and Bicester. Still have my wax jacket and it still keeps the wet and cold off of me here in the states...

Bet the Turks are now SERIOUSLY torqued over this , blowing up a couple of synagogues is embarassing especially in light that Isreal has repeatedly sent medical & rescue experts after natural disasters & the turks are thankful,

But bombing the British Embassy & killing the Consul General is really an insult to the Turks it makes them look as backwards as all the rest of the muslim world & that is not something that they are all that willing to put up with.

Other than being very capable murderous bastards, they're really quite stupid -- as if killing large numbers of people in Islamic countries is gonna win them any friends.

The LAST groups of people I'd want pissed off at me are the British MI6/SAS and the Turks.

These attacks were so infantile. No major-league terrorist group would bomb one country just because their enemy Bush is visiting some other country. Shows how little-league they are.
