And people have the nerve to wonder why there's so much sex and drugs and violence and dancing in today's schools! You know what they say, though - "denial" ain't just a river in Egypt...

If there were any examples of accumulation of micro-evolution that resulted in an actual genetic change,

Please read the link on post 240.

One simple mistake is your chain is all that's needed to prove it wrong. If one creature purported to have emerged after another turns out to have pre-dated it, your chain goes up in smoke as a fairy tale in search of evidence to prove it. If you're going to make wild assertions, dates are neccessary and your methods for proving those dates need to be scientific (dating fossils by geological strata while doing the same in reverse is unnacceptable.) Give me something to go on.

So your "proof" is one statement of

The Quitobaquito and Sonoyta River populations have now been completely separated for about 65 years, and are considered genetically distinct

With no methodology or reason for determining as such? The article didn't mention a single genetic difference between the two, only that they were supposedly different.

I gave you two other links on exactly what he meant and what evolution says about the speciation process and you're still dumb-dumbing away making up your own version.

VadeRetro, you will look less foolish if you PROVE (with supporting evidence) Abe is "dumb-dumbing away making up you our version" rather then merely spewing forth the comment in the complete absence of supporting evidence.

How many people have contemplated the horror of the "meteor" crater and then made the decision to end their own lives because of the ultimate futility of living in a random universe? I'll bet the craterists have never even attempted an honest count of the suicides their mythology has caused. The rim of that crater is probably litered with the bones of the craterites' victims. Yet they go on, pushing their filth in the schools!

If you won't accept an interpretation of plain english than this discussion is over. Have a nice random naturalistic day.

Careful here. I'll ignore your obvious confusion over how science works (Did heliocentricity render the earth "up in smoke?") but I do want you to realize what this could mean for christianity.

You mean like Genesis not explaining where races of men came from and the mysterious appearance of the continent of America?

I gave two links on what Punk Eek really means. Abe's description of why punk-eek disproves evolution does not jive with anything known to be true in the universe. You're telling me I have to read the links to you and show you line by line where what Abe says doesn't match?

When I give you a link, that's for you to click on and read. Damned if I'm going to read it to you.

Goalposts... moved. (for the umpteenth time on this thread alone). I guess I was in error linking the layman's link about the pupfish. I guess I figured if one found it as interesting as I do, one would google pupfish and learn all about the methodology, reasoning, ongoing studies, and genetic information. Then again, curiousity has never been a creationist strong suit.

You're saying there are no transitional fossils at all. I have repeatedly given evidence that many, many, many are known. Please make as much go away as you can. Pick anything you want, with any attack you can think of.

Read post 305. It has a link to a site on ring species. Each population in a ring species is only a tad different than its neighors ("micro" evolutionary changes), and can interbreed with the populations to either side of it. However, the two populations at the ends of the rings are completely different species and are incapable of interbreeding ("macro" evolution).

There is your example.

Quite the opposite! Bludgeoning with ignorance and even stupidity is whole game. The science of "You can't make me see!"

This is a debate. Links prove nothing by themselves. Abe is supporting his position you are doing little more then insulting him. Explain your position - don't pretend links can do the talking for you.

Some of you evolutionists get so pissy really quickly? If somebody challenges one evolutionist statement, the insults and pissiness immediately begins.

Let your arguments do the talking - leave the insults (and victory dances and condescending nonsense) at home.

For your typical creationist, "curiosity killed the faith." They'll never know the true wonders of God's universe because they are too afraid to look; but they will delude themselves that they know it all.

And where did you get the wacked idea the Bible must explain these issues?

If your are talking about trans spieces eveolution, maybe you have some difinitive information that I (nor anyone else) have seen. I thought it was billed as a "theory" as in "Theory of Evolution."
