Most excellent...Now if those liberals will just nominate someone from the left wing of the Democratic party, say Dean, all will be perfect.

"Personally I think the GOP needs to understand the power of negative advertising used in the last week or two before the election."
One republican who understood this was Christie Whitmann of New Jersey. In her run against Floria for governor she ran a really mean TV ad against him during the last few days of the campaign. It showed his face morph into the face of the "Joker" from Batman. She came from behind to win.

It is interesting that Jindal is being described as "not white." I thought that people from India were regarded as "white" whatever their complexion, at least for affirmative action purposes.
In one of Robert Penn Warren's novels, there's a character who is supposedly an Indian guru, who turns out to be African American. The fakir was a faker.

So what are we to make of the Democrats taking over the gubernatorial seat in louisiana? >>>
They'd prefer a white female, even an abortionist, to an immigrant as their governor. Not rocket science.

This is a reprise of a Steyn column that appeared in the London Telegraph a week or so ago (he does this fairly often, changing a few words or phrases from a column he writes either for domestic or foreign consumption and then publishing it either here or overseas depending on where it was published first).
At least this time he got Mississippi-as opposed to Missouri-right.

Here is what Zell Miller points out in his book: Oh, B'rer Fox [and CNN/CBS/ABC/NBC] please keep on reminding us how much better off we'd be with the Democratic *progressive* candidates you espouse and worship so. PLEASE don't throw us into that briar patch....
