Letter sent (I stole some of yours):
______________________________________________

Dear Congressman,

I'm writing to you regarding the "Memo" which came out of the Democrat Senator Rockefeller's trash can. Thankfully, we now all know its partisan, treasonous contents, but I shall reiterate the salient points:

Fabricate political conclusions that would damage and embarrass the President and the administration, "pull the trigger" on an "investigation," under false pretenses, using the resources of the Intelligence Committee to search (or fish) for information that might support the pre-determined political conclusions, and then, using a loophole in the Intelligence Committee rules, attach it as a "political bomb" to any report the committee releases.

The question is, what are you going to do to remove so grave a threat to the safety and security of Americans at home and abroad? Thus far, it appears the Republicans are guilty of complicity by its inaction.

Therefore, I call on you and the House Republicans to make a Resolution which calls for the resignation of Senator Rockefeller. It matters not whether he is its author or its writer. He is, ultimately, responsible for any member of his staff who may have done so. Senator Rockefeller, ranking member and Vice Chair of the committee, must be held accountable. Senator Rockefeller must pay the consequences: resign. He has shown himself incapable of performing those duties which he swore to uphold: protecting the American people, first and foremost.

Please do the right thing, Congressman.

Thank you,

jmstein7, since during this 'talk-a-thon', why not get DeLay or others to read this memo on camera now. Or has it already been done? I will fax a copy to DeLay's office now and ask that they put this in their talks.

Resigned from just the intelligence committee or the Senate?

another issue is to what degree are cash donations to the DNC from certain parts of the world driving this. We all know what went on in 1996 with the DNC, the Clintons and the Chicoms...we cannot fail to ignore this again.

Both of West Virginia's Senators are an embarrassment.
