Welcome Mr. rott357, and a happy Veterans Day, well deserved, to you and Mrs. rott357! Glad to see that most here extended a proper right hand. Well, you've met some of the miscreants. They're plenty here, but they're generally just for fun. Some of the best times you'll have here will be in stepping on toes. Sometimes you don't mean to; it just happens. Other times you put on your boots and have a joyful stomp. Just know that when you do, you must wear your skin thick.

Me, I'm here because there's no better news source on the 'net. You know how you feel whenever there's a report on something you know intimately, the revulsion you get at the reporter getting it so wrong? Well, that's what it's like watching the news at FR -- somewhere, from nowhere, there's an expert opinion about just about anything. It's a really large sofa, and it's full of smart, interested people.

That said, we've got our morons, and most of us at one time or another have played the part by smacking that "post" button much earlier than we ought have.
