Because they aren't men of God.

You must be reading too much of The Gospel of Roy at the Church of the Divine Rodeo Clown and Carnie Hustler. ROFL

It's such a shame that you don't seem to understand the irony of your statement. But it's beautiful.

Either they embrace Judge Moore

A transparent and juvenile dodge. Either they embrace the ten commandments or they are ungodly.

Wow. You're an idiot.

Of course, I could have predicted that.

So, you bash Thompson but freely acknowledge you can't point to anything in his decision that he wasn't required to do. You are the one who is pathetic.

And since when did "limited government" mean the declaration BY GOVERNMENT that one man's God is superior to another's?

...just reading from your Coral Ridge talking points.

Your prejudices are showing. Pull your dress down.

A common theme among these folks is ad hominem. Mock the fellow defending the standard, instead of the standard itself. Perhaps they have a stake in adultery and theft, covetous and murder?

Pathetic is stooping to the Jim Jones comment.

Maybe it is y'all who are the koolaid drinkers for the ACLU and the Southern Poverty Law Center, eh?

Dodge? Post #72 speaks for itself.

Judge Roy ain't the 10 Commandments, you don't have to agree with Judge Roy to love the commandments or live the commandments. And Judge Roy's cause ain't the 10 Commandments, either. If you are anywhere near the state of Alabama when that man starts his jaw going, I'd advise you to put your hand firmly on your wallet.

Spend a day reading the collected works of the Founders. You'll find that they had no problem with propounding the superiority of the Judeo-Christian Creator of the Universe.

Wow. You're an idiot.

On the ropes already? Not ready to defend murder, adultery, theft, covetousness, deceit, pantheism?

I'm not the one under the hypnotic sway of a charlatan. And I'm certainly not the one saying that folks who don't rally to support Moore are ungodly.

They have a stake in the agenda of the Left, which is to drive Christianity from the public arena.

That's the bottom line.

Farmer 18th: "Do you want to trust your children, your spouse, your property to the current consensus or do you want the code that has sustained WESTERN CIVILIIZATOIN FOR THE LAST 2000 YEARS?"

VLD: "The English Common Law has been around for quite some time, at least since the 12th Century or so,...."

English Common Law draws heavily on Roman Law, particularly the Code of Justinian (529 AD) which brought together laws dating back to the founding of the Roman Republic, including the Twelve Tables (c 450 BC).

Westerners had a legal system system before anyone outside of Israel even heard of Moses. Taking the entire code of Justinian and the entire code of Moses, more of our modern law is derived from Justinian and the Romans than from Moses and the Hebrews.

So when Farmer talks about the code that has sustained Western Civilization for 2000 years, he must be referring to the Code of Justinian and its forebears.

Look closely at an Alabama map....if you go to the shore and go as far east a possible.....a little joke..

You and I might disagree about the federal judge's ruling, what we do not disagree about is his authority to rule. To begin to abandon the rule of law is a radical step, and we are not there yet. Let's pray that we do not ever get there.

You're on the side of the ACLU and their fellow travelers is what you are. And worse than that, you're actively fighting their battles.

Speaking for themselves, no. Speaking for the government, absolutely. Sounds like your buying Roy's elixer, and hitting it a little too hard.

I know that there is comfort in the thought that they must just be a bunch of cowardly hirelings, but you are wrong. Maybe they are Godly leaders with discernment.
