These are criminal offenses worthy of jail time. I hope all of these people are prosecuted to the full extent. Then they can spend their jail sentences worrying about what's in their food.

If any of you read "Fast Food Nation", you wouldn't go anywhere NEAR these disgusting places. I sure haven't since.

Interestingly both the best and worst hamburger I ever had were both at Burger King.
The worst was at one in Atlanta. I couldn't finish it. Probably nothing really wrong with it except stale bread and dry meat.
The best was near the airport in Mobile, Alabama. I had about two hours to kill and stopped at the Burger King and ordered one of the better burgers. It was flat out fine. The fact I was hungry probably helped.
I don't think I have eaten at a hamburger place in over 5 years. I doubt I ever will again unless forced to.

Anyone who's worked in a restaurant knows there's a lot of shenanigans going on in the kitchen.

This reminds me of a study that was done on bulk unpackaged candies, in 89% of the samples urine was found on the candy, apparently folks with unwashed hands (lots of kids I would guess) who would reach in for a "free" sample would deposit the urine on the remaining candy. Urine never dries, it just crystalizes (fun fact of the day).

I drive by that BK every day. After that story first broke (sheriff's deputy got a mouthfull of oven cleaner), the perps arrested, and the management & staff now paranoid, I figure it's probably the safest BK to eat at in the country!

I don't know about the Burger King franchises in other cities, but here in New Orleans they are staffed, overwhelmingly, by parolees. In fact, I've heard that there is an agreement of sorts that funnels parolees into jobs at BK.
Now isn't that a comforting thought! Ex cons making your food.Could explain a LOT.

Don't be too hard on the poor workers. After all, they're not paid a "living wage" /sarcasm
