Darwin Menschausen by proxy in the making.

These idits would trust a gorilla before they would trust a Tory.

But let's not forget Koko. Give the field, maybe Koko could top the other candidates should she choose to announce for the Democratic nomination. He intelligence alone would put her at the top of the field.

KOKO

Anyone ever see the obscure movie The Mafu Cage with a then relatively unknown actress: Bernadette Peters? I believe she was raised by apes in it...must've been produced in the late '70s or early '80s.

If these people have "introduced" two other of their children in this same way and they're alive and well, I don't have a problem with it...and if they don't sue someone if it goes wrong. It's weird, but there are some strange people in this world who do nuttier things than this.

Hey! This could solve our "affordable" childcare dilemma in the US !!!!!! Gorillas would probably work for bananas.

[slapping forehead] Why didn't I think of it?

Must be one of those sophisticated European things that I, as an unsophisticated American, will never be able to comprehend, due to my lack of the advanced benefits of generations of ancestral inbreeding with the people who were not smart enough to immigrate to the USA.
Or, it could just be a British version of the hold muh beer lifestyle.
It is generally a mistake to assume wealth and education automatically coincide with wisdom.

It certainly sounds like one.

But gorillas are known for their gentle treatment of babies and children.

They're probably right, gorillas are vegetarian, they aren't like tigers or human beings, they don't have a killer instinct. Although I would never do it myself, turning your daughter over to a gorilla is probably a lot less flakey than turning her over to an 'Undocumented Worker' -- which a lot of liberals in California don't hesitate to do as they skip off to their six-figure jobs.

Now this would be a "ritual"......"I'll probably give my wife to the dominant male who will take her off and introduce her to the others." YIKES!

Both he and Miss Air approve of the plan and do not believe their daughter will be in any danger.

Remember this thread not too long ago:

A self-taught bear expert who once called Alaska's brown bears harmless was one of two people fatally mauled in a bear attack in the Katmai National Park and Preserve.

Another accident waiting to happen?

Television presenter Donna Air

Just how many television presenters do they have over their. Every time I read about a British television star they're almost always described as a "television presenter."
