Probably. Let's face it, if the elves are making all those toys, why do they have "Mattel" and "Hasbro" written on them?
He's taking those toys from somebody and giving them to kids with no means to pay for them themselves.
That's wealth redistribution, plain and simple. Plus he wears red all the time.
