Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist has temporarily disbanded the Senate Intelligence Committee until committee Democrats reveal the identity of the author of a memo outlining a their plan to politicize intelligence data in a bid undermine President Bush's reelection.
HOORAYYYYY!!! Frist is being a real man!!!
I want to know who wrote it, or had the typest type it. Yes!!!

Nevada Sen. Harry Reid complained on the Senate floor that the memo had been "pilfered" by Republicans then leaked to the media, saying that act was just as offensive as anything revealed by the controversial document. "This is almost as outrageous as when we thought Newt Gingrich was using our copy machine," Reid continued.

Don't be such a negative nabob!
Send them an email and tell them not to fold!! Don't just sit there and whine about it!
To: jmstein7
Yeah! LOL! However, I believe it was somebody on the dims committee staff who thought it was more important to be an American first!

But .. Sean being a journalist - I don't think he can be compelled to give up his source. Bob Novak didn't have to ..??

You are right about the scum....sadly for me, Durbin is the worst and from my state!! I wouldn't be surprised if Evan Bayh is the first to condemn the memo. He's not Zell Miller but he has some sense of right.

"All these Democrats should be thrown off the committee immediately and replaced"
This is extremely important!
And .. particular care should be taken in appointing other dems to the committee. There cannot be any dem appointed to the new committee who has FORMER CLINTON STAFF within their collective staffs.

It is about time. Finally, a Senate Republican taking a very serious issue seriously.
I hope he won't end up letting the committee meet again if the Demos end up accepting an earlier proposal that they be subjected to "serious criticism."

I wish this turd was not from my state. You could move to California and have a Barbara Boxer instead.

Ooooooh! Good point! I hadn't thought of that!

That reminds me of what Reagan used to say to his cabinet: "Did you make anybody mad today? If not, then you're not doing your job".

Why have the Dems misplayed this so badly? It could be because the Memo goes straight back to HRC, and she has forbade Rockefeller from serving up her hack who wrote the Memo in the first place. Just maybe. No maybe about it. For sure.

I think HE is .. I think that's why this got exposed.
There is a scripture which says "everything hidden will be revealed" [paraphrase].

The dems over in the House aren't doing any better. It seems DeLay has enforced a rule which says that if you vote AGAINST a bill, all your pork items for your district get pulled from the bill.
WhooooHoooo!! Hardball!!!!!!

Angry about a leaked Democratic memo, the Republican leadership of the Senate yesterday took the unusual step of canceling all business of the committee investigating prewar intelligence on Iraq. If you ever needed proof of Washington Post liberal bias, it is right here in this lead.

The author needs to be FIRED! And .. never allowed to work in a GOVERNMENT POSITION AGAIN!!
To: HighWheeler
Suspecting and have a memo which is proof - are two different things.

Yeah, it sure doesn't help their claim of being patriotic (while they are bashing the president).
