I've eaten snails many many times. Stuff the shells generously with fresh garlic blended with butter and a touch of parsley, broil. Delicious!

I've eaten snails many many times. I used to get them sometimes when I was stationed in Berlin thirty years ago. ("Schenken" or some such as I recall.) Delicious, although not very filling.

Ah, utensils ... but will they penetrate the armoring of these gastropods?
