I didn't say that Roe would be challenged soon.
But the left knows that that is precisely what the President would do if he could, which is why they are fighting this first step so hard.
He said that the CULTURE had not yet changed enough for Roe v Wade to be overturned, but it IS changing, and I think that further attempts will be made to roll back this holocaust in the next 5 years.
Contrary to what his critics say, this President is the real thing.

My apology, if you've been offended. In any case, let's all work together to prevent the unwarrented deaths of the innocent, shall we?

Capitalism as it is practiced. It is the enemy of the family.
Chesterton was nearly always right, wasn't he. Think of nursing homes today. People will put aging parents in nursing homes to avoid the inconvenience of caring for them in their own homes. Also, they be able to get government to pay for the nursing home expenses, but they would be out-of-pocket for some of the expenses if the infirmed were kept at home with the Baby Boomers.
Similarly, some abort for "financial" reasons, not realizing that the child in the womb could become a financ ial wizard who would make the whole family "rich" in money if not in grace.

The Federal Government stepped in and outlawed slavery because it was wrong
No, it was Amendment 13 that outlawed slavery. This was not exactly "the federal government" stepping in. Three-fourths of the state legislatures had to concur.

Good night and God Bless my friend, This great nation has always been willing to sacrifice blood and treasure to protect the rights and lives of perfect strangers in far off lands at a moments notice. It's about time we started protecting the lives and rights of the most innocent here in our own country.
At one time I was indifferent on this issue, but when I took my daughter in for her first Sonigram(sp?), I saw a tiny living human being, full of life wiggling around in her stomach, and then several months later I saw her give birth to that same living baby. There is no doubt when I think life begins.

Yes you're correct, but I think you get my point, there are times when the SCOTUS should settle these types of issues?

I am hardly derisive of evangelicals except for the ones that support Israel only because they hope to see Jews get killed in their END OF THE WORLD fantasies that are heresy to everything Catholics and even Lutherans believe in. I've been an evangelical all my life and I've never heard of such a thing except recently in hit pieces in the newspapers. I'm sure that there's a couple of pastors out in BumDiddle, Texas who preach that scenario but they're no more representative of evangelicals than Ted Kennedy is of Catholics.
To: Burkeman1
Maybe...
Just MAYBE...
Fallwell was being respectful enough to not assume that Catholics would fell "represented" by protestant ministers. Maybe he said what he did because it juse so happened that all those present were Protestants.
That would, after all, be the natural assumption.
Perhaps you are looking for offense where none exists.

If I may ask, sir, how do you overlook "No person shall be deprived of life..." as not having to do with abortion?
