Seriously, I've always thought that when obl nears death with his kidney disease, he'll take part in a suicide attack somewhere using the worst weapons he can buy. Might come in through Canada where the customs jerks couldn't care less. Blowing up Detroit would "divide" the USA and it's only an unguarded bridge away from Canada. (But so many muzzlims live in that area, he may not.) Private boat onto Great Lakes? Chicago? Divide into three parts suggests two attacks.

If somehow he kills himself on US soil, the muzzles will claim him as a big martyr and also claim the US as their own. Nasty.

I believe this so-called threat to be an attempt at psychological warfare — an effort by the Moonbats to create panic, both in the markets and among the general population. By creating an undercurrent of fear, AQ hopes to disrupt economic activty and decrease public support for the war.

AQ's strategy here is sound: Since they cannot hope to beat us in the field, they must fight us on another terrain, one where our military superiority counts for nothing — the information battlefield. OBL and company have learned the lesson taught by Ho Chi Minh well: destroy American support for the war on the home front, destroy the public's sense of security, and destroy Americans' trust in their government, and you have won the war. Cynicism is the terrorists’ “cyanide”; panic is their “atomic bomb”. Don't give in to either! Make your support of the war effort known, and do your utmost to fight against the cynics who say the war is pointless or unwinnable. When terrorist threats are rumored, don't spread the rumors; instead, gather all the information you can from reliable sources and consider the seriousness of these threats in a calm, sober, and rational manner.

According to Maududi, the traditionists and commentators have agreed that this incident took place at Mina in Makkah about five years before the Holy Prophet’s Hijra (migration) to Madinah.
