I just feel a little sick inside. I hate the thought that the Republicans in the Senate might just allow their President to be destroyed just so that they can "get along" with their colleagues.

Already debunked. Two college towns did that poll. If you read it closely, it still says 60% are with Bush. LOL.Watching FOX NEWS (where I saw the poll results) and listening to Hannity and active on FR sometimes takes it's toll. Have NO PROBLEM being wrong if the part I didn't hear debunks the stats and puts GW in front. Glad I could afford you a good laugh. Thanks for the heads up.

Hannity said he was "like a freeper, he lurks!" Really? Dang, I missed that. I have to divide my attention between Sean and a toddler.
Yeh. He said that when they were trashing the lines.

Good thinking, but wrong.
The Democrats cannot 'spin' their evidence. All one has to do is ask them to PRODUCE the facts behind their accusations. The main point is that the CANT, so what they hope to do is create an environment where the media stir public opinion to demand an independent investigation, where after it is politicized to hurt Bush, it will find NOTHING.
The media only needs to ask the Democrats to put up their evidence, or shut up. Without an independent investigation, anything the Democrats accuse Bush of doing, it can be dismissed as Politics. The memo suggests that the Democrats KNOW they dont have anything, so they need to move the playing field, in order to make people believe there is something there.

That was an excellent interview. Should be reduced to text and indexed for future use. Anyone know how to get a written copy of that interview? I've just pinged the best researcher on FR.

I thought the memo was from the Senate Intelligence Committee, not just Democrats.

Yes, we sure could use Rush right now!!! Hope he gets back to us soon. And I also wondered, like you, if O'Reilly would maybe pick this up. He will probably wait a bit to see if it looks like a big story. But, CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, NBC? I sure don't look for it there.

Wilson sips sweet tea... in Niger.....then writes about it .......then claims foul when his wifes name surfaces as a CIA operative......then Wilson ENDORSES JOHN F KERRY(WAR VET).......then enter DEMOCRATIC VICE CHAIRMAN Rockefeller to whine until the FBI/Justice Dept open an investigation into the LEAK.
Comes full circle..

Thanks to the Senate, it always looks like we are losing, even when we are winning. Think about what it must be like for Democrats when they have to resort to this crap.
We are picking up our 2nd and 3rd Governor today, and another one in 2 weeks. We have Bush above 50% approval in his third year. We have the House and Senate outside of Democrat control, which is almost as good as Republican control. We got CBS to blink on the Reagan movie. Things are better than they look, because most of us want to drive a stake through the heart of the Democrats, instead of settling for only having a slight advantage.

So far, I agree with those who say that this looks more like (disgusting) politics-as-usual than treason. But it does show that the primary goal of the Dems is to destroy Bush rather than put forth a good-faith effort to win the peace in Iraq. That is not technically breaking the law, but it is un-American and morally reprehensible.
