Please. Last year there was a movie about Gay Orthodox Jews, "Trembling Before G-d,". It was an attempt to claim that Orthodox Jews are uncompasionate hypocrites. Liberal Jews made it, produced it, and distributed it. Speilberg funded the project.Guess I'll have to bone up on my research next time.
But in the case of The Magdalene Sisters, you have a movie made by a Marxist atheist obviously wanting to discredit organized religion, particulary Catholicism. I really don't think that a self professed anti-Semite who made a movie about Zionist terrorists in the 1950's--making sure to portray every Jew in the movie as morally repugnant--would get a good review or pass even from liberal Judaism. And even if some of the far left-wing Jews gave it a thumbs-up, the majority voice of "mainstream" Judaism would drown them out.

The attacks begin slowly. It takes time for people to become desensitised to the more direct attacks.
Anti-Catholic movies did not begin last year. The attacks grew from mild to direct.

But there still aren't a whole lot of American movies that are blantantly anti-Catholic--Europe and Mexico produces much more, being deeply influenced by Marxist thought in a way that America is just now beginning to accept as "normal".

And I'm sure you saw the article yesterday about how a poll showed that the majority of Europeans think that Israel is the greatest threat to peace in the world. It's funny to me how atheist humanism is so accepting of radical Islam.
