That would be nice but I wonder if he would go that far? Although if he endorses Bush his followers will do the same.

I think it is too late for a wakeup call for the dems. They have shoveled themselves in pretty deep and it's gonna be hard digging out with a ladder(agenda)only attacks. They are weakening and have shown themselves to be so utterly stupid, uncaring and such big time liars. It's amazing how they lie and actually believe it and expect us to believe it.
This hatchet job CBS is doing on Reagan is wrong and I don't see anyone on the dem side standing up for what is right. They never do unless it benefits them. They are grasping at straws.

Zell Miller stated his case very eloquently and had the courage to say the kinds of things he said in his book and on TV to Sean Hannity for all the world to read and hear.

He is a man of conviction and the dem party could use more of this southern gentleman's grace and character.

Someone else here stated a valid point that a moderate conservative can not get a party nomination for Congress, the Senate, or the Presidency because of the Primary System and a preference of appealing to the far left when pursuing a nomination...

The Republicans got the message when Jeffords went independent... When Shelby and Campbell changed 10 years ago, no one at the national level saw the writing on the wall...

This will be an interesting election to say the least. We'll have to wait to see how it all pans out. The Dems are choking big time in my eyes.

Being that I think it is about the swing voters and independents, I see the soccer moms and the small business owners and Southern Moderates and conservatives as being the determining factor...

As you say, "wait and see"

There is also a threat from a third party candidate that could be significant... Shades of Perot in 92...

Nah...I think the soccer moms have run their course. Their 15 minutes of fame so to speak. I don't think there will be a third party candidate either. Maybe I'm wrong...

Makes me wonder whatever happened to John Anderson (1980)... Needs to be someone with money and national recognition... No one really comes to mind...
