The software engineers at Diebold have solved this problem once and for all.

I see what you mean. Wow.

I'll never vote for Democrats. They really are traitors to our Republic.

That stumble bum Gore didn't care if he caused a Constitutional crisis the selfish putz. That and the Wellstone funeral did the demons in.

What you posted is true, but it was a self-inflicted wound on the part of Republicans. I can just picture the Panhandle U-turns as would-be Bush voters believed Gore had won Florida. It was their responsibility to continue on and vote anyway

This is a wonderful point. ANYONE who walks away, or stays home is a damn fool. 1st, as in this case, the TV might be wrong and 2nd there are other positions on the ballot.

Never let anyone keep you from voting.

Thanks, but it's not mine. It is hilarious, though, ain't it?

Although the time zone descrepancy is significant, what should never be forgotten is the fact that a political party with an eye towards controlling the executive branch of the military sent lawyers to the state of Florida with instructions on how to identify absentee military ballots with the intent of disqualifying them and them alone.

"Civilian" absentee ballots were to be untouched because a majority of American civilians living abroad lean towards the democRATs, while the majority of military voters lean towards republicans.

This is not only a disgrace but also very telling of the mindset of the democratic party as a whole. They intentional attempted to disqualify those that volunteered to safeguard our very way of life and values.

Sorry about the excerpting. It's Newsweak, after all. I thought this was going to be a great article exposing the mischief possible in tabulating electronic voting. Well, the beginning was OK, but Newsweak's take is that this is of concern because BUSH might cheat! Give me a break!
