While we're wondering, that is suggesting hypotheticals, I wonder what the poll results would have been if they had said her persistant vegatative state had resulted from complications from a late term or "partial birth" abortion? It'd be interesting to see how deep all of this hypocrisy ran. I'm betting it would be fairly illuminating.

Are you insinuating that those who don't want Terri killed would sing a different tune if her condition was due to a late term abortion? If so, you are totally clueless. If not, please explain your point.

There are two ways to get different answers:

1. Should Terri be allowed to die?

2. Should Terri be allowed to live?

The poll here is worded in the first sense since her condition is described as hopeless.

What those of us who think it is wrong to stop feeding her base our decisions on are more aligned with the second proposition since it is obvious even to the majority of Americans walking around in a near-dead mental state on a regular basis that if someone doesn't get food that someone will die.

And just why are they voting on this in the first place?

Do we now have to have society's permission to live or die?

I'd wager that there would be more than a few of these very same people saying that it was "God's Will" that she die for what she had done.

You'd lose that bet and you ARE clueless. You pro-deathers will never get it and I'm sorry for you.
