Gee, I hope the school authorities don't get wind of what you just said. That's just the excuse they'd use with the judge if they could get away with it.

Muskogee is one of Okla. more liberal locations.A "blue" area.

Given that nominal Christians are divided up into scores of groups that cannot agree on the teaching of a divinely-inspired Bible, what makes you think Muslims are unanimous and monolithic in their understanding of a manmade book?

Okla. has a state law still on the books that bans wearing masks.A carryover from some KKK problems in the past.

Do the school officials in Muskogee allow prayers in class? Do they allow the Ten Commandments to be displayed? Do they allow the students to say the Pledge of Allegiance? In other words, does this childs head dress represent the same values as the Christian, Jews, Catholic etc. students who want the same freedom do? Apparently it does.
Get the address of that school and lets freep the heck out of them.

Because that's what makes you a Moslem, you belief in the never changing words of Mohammed.

Would they suspend a Jewish student wearing a kippah? Or a Christian student with a Crucifix?Of course they would.

You only asked one question and I answered it.
To: BlueString
Nope, I asked why you seem to think all Muslims would be in agreement concerning what the Koran requires of them when Christians cannot even agree on what the Bible requires of them. I.e., what is the difference?

I've always thought a lot of the liberalism was because of the large number of blacks in the Muskogee or "Creek" Nation,Muskogee being their Capitol. Also, there were quite a few Seminole "Freedmen" in the area.
The Seminole lands adjoin the Creeks' and these two Nations, pretty closely related, seem to have a far higher percentage of black members than any other tribes I can think of,even the other three "civilized" tribes.
A lot of the liberalism probably just comes from being one of the larger communities in the state, with all that goes with high population spots.
One nice thing in Okla.Except for the certifiable,"many" of what we call liberals in Okla. would be considered "conservative" in some parts.
