(IsraelNN.com) A senior government or security official was on board the El Al flight which was diverted from Toronto to Montreal last week due to a “terror alert”. According to a report in the Canadian Calgary Sun, al-Qaeda terrorists intended to target the plane due to the senior person on board.

The report states Mossad officials in Tel Aviv contacted Canadian security authorities a short time before the plane was due to land in Toronto, prompting the decision to divert to Montreal.

I think there is a lot of terrorist attemps going on, and so far we have foiled them. The government is downplaying and not reporting much on the incidents, as the above news item shows. The diverted plane was briefly mentioned in the news, most people probably even missed it, now it turns out, it was targeted by AQ.

The point is not to be scared, as I said before, but to stay vigilant. Some of you make jokes about the threat, but it's not a joke. I think it's a testimony to our (and other international) intel services and law enforcement and that Bush had them pull out all the stop, to prevent attacks -- that so far we managed to foil the attempts, most of which we aren't even aware of.

At some point will America really look at what is being said and done by the Terrorists and and then consider what the President continues to say about them and how we should tolerate their murderous attitudes towards us in particular? He is his own worse enemy and I believe him to actually believe this opinion without any help or prodding. His nicie nice attitude is gonna get us all killed if he does not wake up to what he believes about islam! They are not peaceful people or a religion of peace; we are going to have to kill every last one of them before they can figure a way to get to us! Wake Up Bush!
