I understand that the NRA also stayed out of the KY Governors race, giving each candidate the highest rating possible and praising them both. Is the NRA getting soft on us?

No, the NRA just doesn't play politics. If a democrat, even a liberal democrat "does the right thing" in regards to supporting the right to keep and bear arms, then the NRA will support them. The NRA is pretty much a one issue organizaton.
If for instance the NRA supported Haley Barbor (the republican running against Musgrove) then they would be stabbing Musgrove in the back eventhough he may have done everything the NRA wanted him to do for the last 4 years.
If the NRA went around doing this, then why should a governor or any other politition care if they uphold the Second Amendment? They still might not get the NRA's endorsement if some other candidate comes along.

Haley is a NRA rated "A" also. I am going to vote for him even though the NRA supports Muscrat.

Is the NRA getting soft on us? The NRA has a long-standing policy of endorsing the incumbent, if both candidates receive the same NRA rating.

If this was the N"E"A it would be no surprise

The NRA always endorses incumbents, regardless of party, if they are perceived as "supportive" on Second Amendment rights. Even if the opponent is "more supportive" on the issue, the NRA sticks with an "acceptable" incumbent.

This time the NRA shot themselves in the foot.

That's the second time you've posted that picture, well the second time I've seen it that is. Who the heck is that refugee from the "War of Yankee Aggression"?? (either side of course, although a bit more likely to be a Southron)

Oleg Volk from The High Road.com (formerly TheFiringLine.com) created it, (unasked I might add.) Volk is the photog supremo who has created most of the incredible pro-RKBA photo posters you have seen on the web. He has literally dozens of super high quality RKBA photos on his
"Self-Defense: A Basic Human Right" website.

Just think....had you included the VPC "yeah though I walk thru the valley...." photo, you'd have your mug on the wall of every deer camp in all 82 Mississippi counties...and countless invites.

In Vicksburg this summer we'd place bets on guessing where people were from by their appearance when they pulled up in the lot. People from southern LA were so easily identified we had to exclude them from the game. All it took the sight of a bare foot stepping out of car to identify them. lol
