I know you're gonna hate this info, but it appears you never thought about the time honored tradition of attempted destruction of doctors who go against accepted so-called standards!!! Check out the addy below for Dr. Hammesfahr's Nobel Prize Nomination !!! http://www.floridaneurologicalinstitute.com/nobel_prize_nomination.htm

Hmmmm....when I go to the Nobel Website, I find that not only is there no mantion of Herr Doktor, but also that the Nobel Foundation expressly forbids the publishing of nominees/nominators names. In fact, according to the Statutes of the Nobel Foundation, nominators must not make public the names of the nominees nor inform nominees privately of the proposals. Even invitations to propose names are confidential. Proposals received for the award of a prize, and investigations and opinions concerning the award of a prize may not be divulged. The names of the nominees are classified as confidential information for at least fifty years.
So this sounds like more hooey to me, or at the very least a snake oil salesman trying to make himself seem more credible. But nice try.

I just don't understand why the family or the lawyers brought this up during the malpractice suit. Makes no sense.

Not to mention that this is an ad page from HIS OWN website.
"Look at me everyone! I'm a highly respected doctor! Just ask me!"
I'll say it once more. You have to leave the questionable sources out of the fray. Otherwise, you get nowhere in the fight to save Terri.

That may very well be. I question his ethics/credibility, as well. But I am also refraining from judging on conjecture and accusations (nor is it my place, or even my responsibility to do, based solely on my personal opinion of his behavior) . If there is
proven criminal action on his part, then he deserves everything he gets (and probably a lot worse than he'll get).
As far as Terri's specific situation is concerned, well, that goes back to the proving of criminal actions. If it doesn't happen, or if he's completely cleared in some fashion, then it's not anyone's place (especially lawmakers)to presume to understand their relationship, or even know their minds/intimate conversations, etc. Especially when at that point you'd be making your desicions based on your disapproval at his having a girlfriend - which I agree is pretty low. But again, I am not The Judger of Men. Nor is anyone here, although you'd never know sometimes.....
