Yes, and if one looks at what the 1st SBCT is looking like going into Iraq, folks will see it is taking a pretty healthy Aviation piece with it. Gee, kinda like...an ACR. And the 2 CR(L)...soon to be an SBCT, is allegedly going to have attack helos and MGS's in much greater numbers. We'll see if the MGS ever sees the other side of the gate at Aberdeen.

The ACR is "tailorable" to most anything, and those damned CAV guys have the right attitude about manning the frontier, either our "Wild west" or the IGB. This is just another border for them.

Agree. I belive the SBCT's are going to look alot more like Cav Regiments before the decade is out. I always though they should be Regiments of Dragoons...but only my boss got the reference.

There are two of them at Ft Knox. The grape vine/rumor control says they are not doing so hot.
