Packers, probably 8-8, maybe 9-7. Favre's still got the stuff, but he's got a so-so receiving corps. Ahman went back into his dropsie mode. The defense has been dreadful.

As far as the Liberty goes, I'd like to see info from an unbaised source. From what I've found on this guy, he's hardly that.

No, neoconservative does not mean Jew. It is a distinct ideological tendency, basically leftism masquerading as conservatism, and many of its well known adherents, such as Bill Bennett, are not Jewish. And one of the major exposers of the neocons, Paul Gottfried, is Jewish.

First, I'd have to review all of the evidence and testimony. I'd have to take into account the biases of the sources, to question their agenda and slant. Then, and after putting a quite a bit of time into the process, I'd make a decision. And I haven't made a decision yet.

By inferring anti-semitism , you try to shut down discussion on a legitimate topic for discussion.

Sorry, but this is garbage.

Hey, you brought up the "Elders of Zion" and the so called "Jewish banking conspiracy", not me. These are anti-semetic.

Secondly, according to the survivors, the Liberty incident WAS NOT a freindly fire attack. If I remember correctly, it happened in daylight, the Liberty was marked as a U.S. ship, the crew tried many time to make contact with the attackers, AND, the attack lasted 6 hours. The attackers tried to sink the ship and kill the survivors.

It just doesn't sound like a "friendly fire" incident to me. It may to you.

On these other incidents you mentioned, the U.S. has admitted their error. In the Liberty incident, nothing but years of official silence and stonewalling by both governments.

I would just like to know the truth.

No wonder you get in trouble thinking of that incident.

Hey, you brought up the "Elders of Zion" and the so called "Jewish banking conspiracy", not me. These are anti-semetic. I brought them up to make a point that it's our responsibility what we believe in. This was in response to your "I read.." which implied that you believed something just because it was published.

I did not call your argument anti-Semitic. I called is garbage.

On these other incidents you mentioned, the U.S. has admitted their error. In the Liberty incident, nothing but years of official silence and stonewalling by both governments.

The Israeli government not only acknowledged its mistake, it paid restitution to the families of victims.

I would just like to know the truth.

Naaah, you don't want the truth -- you want "evidence."

My take on this is that our commanders are to blame: they sent the ship into the harm's way, having assured Israelis to the contrary.

I agree. It may have been a case of being someone's high-level military career on the line, or LBJ's call, than some "anti-American Israeli conspiracy". Those who really know are dead by now.
