"He's called 'the Iceman' because he isn't scared of anything," he said. "I know the people in that part of the world. They are really tough."

I'll bet his wife gives him a start now and again.

Here in the states we know him as President Bush.

I couldn't help but think how the media would have changed the perspective of this article had the fishing captain been a known Republican. They would have accused him of groping the poor fishey and then molesting a creature known to be an endangered species. Well, let's see what CNN does with this.

I'll bet if he did, no one would make a joke about it to his face.

The Iceman is one tough guy. He would make a good wrestling persona.

When I was a kid, my gramp had a boat on Cape Cod and we'd spend the summers catching flounder and blues.

Well one day we were off the tip of Monomoy Island, and we could see this guy on another boat, close to shore, waiving us over... He had cornered a 10ft blue shark between a sandbar and his boat - but needed us to close the last gap.

After we got in place, this crazy mofo jumped in the water with a bowie knife, straddled the beast and proceeded to slash it's neck!

Completely surreal.

This guy is probably never without a seat, because with balls that big, who needs a Lazy-Boy?

The world is full of heroes.

We just don't hear about them much, because they don't brag about it...and present media management would rather we only hear whining and worrying...so they can hold our crying towel, and spend our money.

To hell with that noise.
