So...who's gonna be the first to develop an inflatable computer to take full advantage of all this new technology?

I don't know, but I'll take the one with the greenish headband.

Barf.
Imperfection is the key to making CGI become fully realistic, but your example goes wayyyy too far :)

Welcome to the exciting world of REALDOLL! Since 1996, we have been using Hollywood special effects technology to produce the most realistic love doll in the world. Our dolls feature completely articulated skeletons which allow for anatomically correct positioning, an exclusive blend of the most expensive silicone rubbers for an ultra-flesh like feel, and are each custom made to order, to our customer's specifications. We offer an extensive list of options, from body type and Face type all the way down to fingernail color. If you've ever dreamed of creating your ideal woman, then you have come to the right place.

I predict that conservative film makers will be the first to capitalize on this technology, because the liberal establishment and actors will attempt to demonize it and protect the status quo.Personally, I bet that the porn industry will be the first to exploit this capability, just like they have been the leaders in so many other applications in the internet area.

Looks like one of those cheap, pop-art paintings from the 70s, that were so popular, by I can't remember who.
To: ErnBatavia
I clicked (via anonymous link). The FAQ is pretty funny, the questions basically revolved around how to get a life with your silicon rubber dummy. And the male dolls cost $1000 more than the females.

Personally, I'm waiting for the holodeck ala Star Trek.
Once they perfect that, I'm going input my LoTR program where Aragorn and I kick orc butt, save Middle Earth, and he drops that elf-princess for me. Fade to us riding off in the sunset.
Yep, I'm just waiting for the holodeck...

Yep, I'm just waiting for the holodeck... Ensign: Captain, the sensors have just detected an anomalous energy surge.
Picard: Quick! Shut down the holodecks!
