It shows no sign of ending ---- go stand out at the border entry points at 7:30 am and see the thousands of Mexicans coming over with cars, trucks and vans filled with kids to come and use American schools for free. The local taxpayers long lost the ability to keep up with the free health care and education ---- the State of Texas and the US government have been bailing out the county hospitals and public schools for many years now ---- basically just accepting that we provide for Mexico what they don't wish to provide for themselves.

This really irks me. How many Americans simply cannot afford health care? We're giving away everything but the kitchen sink to illegals.

What a country, these politicans are leaving to you, my grandkids, and great grandkids.
My heart goes out to all of you, I fax, send emails, phone and it is getting to the point where I wonder, what is the use. But that is excatly
what they want, for every one to get discouraged, and just quit.
I had some one tell me one time, Lord you are stubborn, I would sure hate to be the one to try and get you to change your mind. lol
I think the reason the elderly are so opposed to all this illegal immigration, is because we lived when politicans, followed through on their oath of upholding our laws, and enforcing them.
Hang in there, it will be the likes of you that carries the torch, when the old die and are no longer here to carry on the fight.

Rep. Gene Green (D-TX) must be one of those "States Rights" clowns. The Federal Government must rule the states for their own good.

Thank you for sticking with it and keeping up the good fight. It is hard. Neither political party is with us. No one in the media is with us. Even the conservative media doesn't treat it as a mainstream or important issue. But 85% of Americans consider illegal immigration a serious problem. They don't act mainly because the leftist media forestalls debate by painting the issue in terms where if you don't support the illegals, you are intolerant, selfish, racist, etc. That, combined with the fact that Americans are probably the most charitable people on earth causes many people to avoid confronting the problem if that means appearing cold hearted or prejudiced.

Those of us who've done the research and have come to the realization that this massive foreign invasion is severely damaging our country have to keep on informing people; friends, coworkers, relatives. And we have to keep on with the emails, faxes, letters, and phone calls to our govt officials.

Why don't we just give free medical care to all peoples in Mexico, why stop there?? How about all peoples of South America??

It's not just Mexico. I learned during my stint in a disaster site after the Northridge Earthquake, that people were coming from the middle east (among other places) for our "free" medical care. They'd fly in, stay with relatives, collect welfare and medical (in CA), then fly home after their planned surgery.

We can't afford it. Right now many hospitals and clinics are already closing their doors due to the cost of uncompensated care for illegal aliens. Representative Gene Green's bill will simply accelerate the trend. The losers will be American citizens and permanent U.S residents who need critical care but won't be able to get it if there's no hospital or clinic to go to. Green's bill is another example of the elite's disconnect from the public on the issue of illegal immigration.
