Actually I'm not at all surprised by the viciousness of the left and not too distraught about the attacks on Limbaugh. You have to expect these sorts of things when conservatives stumble, because this is war not debate class.

I would just urge all leftists to drop this facade of supposedly being people of compassion and virtue. As conservatives know full well, liberals are far more vicious and intolerant than we are. And Rush will be back. That fact alone will cause more gnashing of teeth by the libs.

Nor do I have a national forum to criticize those who do.

You do here and you just did.

I have asked my Rush friends if they could EVER recall Rush saying ANYTHING about back surgery EVER.

Does not a person (who has not been elected to public office) have the right to have their medical records kept private? FYI, I do recall that one of Rush's breaks from his show was for the back surgery in question.

And you know this how?

In other words; What qualifies YOU to have ANY opinion on the subject, whatsoever!

My own mother and her 30 year struggle with the aftermath of a lamenectomy done by; "One of he finest orthopedic surgeons, West of the Mississippi". And my own car accident in 1986, where I chose to spend 2 years in therapy, rather than submit to surgery.

My mother's back surgery left her worse off than she was before. Now, she he was no couch potatao, either. She rode horses well, and could catch and saddle her on mount at the stables or a high mountain meadow. After her surgery, she never could saddle her own horse, needed help mounting and carried a saddle bag full of pills wherever she went. Years later, our family doctor, who was an osteopath as well as an MD, told me had tried to talk her out of the surgery and try the "conservative" approach, but she wanted the disability over "NOW", and opted for the "cutters". I think that's what Rush did.

And now, just like "Job", Rush has to suffer the pain of the original injury, the pain of the damage to muscle and ligament done by the surgery, as well as the insults of his "ACCUSERS".

I am not a regular Rush listener. He looses me the minute he starts in about golf or football (golf courses and football stadiums are a waste of good horse pasture). But I have heard him since '89 when he came on nationaly. Rush has made more Republicans than the RNC ever will. Therefore, I will reserve judgement and regarding Rush Limbaugh's plight until I know some facts. And not before.

It should be some of the best radio in history. Maybe it will be bigger news than Kobe. Love him or hate him, the whole country will be listening.

That's for sure. Rush can report "from the belly of the beast" about addiction and add his insight. Rush has pride, but he has honor more. He will tell the tale and it will be of value to country.
