Are you concerned about YOUR OWN incovenience with the mail while an innocent citizen is being murdered before your eyes? Shame on you.

OH, I see. But you're still way off course. I object to flooding government mailrooms with leaky, manhandled packages of powder. There's nothing those people did to Terri that means they should deserve fearing for their lives. Nor do other functions of government, some of which involves veterans and others in similiar shape who need help, need to come to a screeching whoa because of one judge. I think we should do things to save Terri that will save Terri--not harass innocent third parties.

You know I really don't think that the employees should be harassed. But I can tell you this situation is very disgusting and to have the Leader and chief Law Enforcement Officer of the State say he cannot do anything is Ludicrous. I doubt it's a matter of Cannot, it's Will not!! Otherwise your saying that a State Court Judge and one guardian are in complete control of a citizen of the State's life. It's completely clear to even a half-wit that her constitutional rights are being violated. Horribly so.

Is it okay if I agree with you vehemently, and disagree with the tactic of filling the Florida state government's mailrooms with JELLO? It's not going to influence anyone. It might even get people arrested.

The people who realize that this is wrong know it and are looking for a legal means to fix it. The ones who don't know better or are downright evil are interfering, successfully. I will always oppose tactics that will aid them in that, and I think mailing jello will help the bad guys, not the good guys.

And it'll make the good guys look like flaky weirdos at best, and threatening terrorists at worst.

Jello or some sugar water could save Terry's brain from further damage. Terry wasn't in a comma before but if they don't provide what her brain needs she will be in a real comma, soon.

>> ...compose an email to all the Florida legislators about the upcoming "Terri's Bill" presentation today.

Unfortunately, the Eugene I am at is not the one in Florida, but the better known Eugene in Oregon (where the voters have already supported a form of euthanasia).

My main point in responding here is that I don't think Florida legislators are interested much at all in what I think their state laws should be.

But yeah, if you're there, take a look at what's proposed and tell them what you think about it. Just beware of unintended consequences. When you start drawing lines in the sand and making absolutes you are likely to have some. Goodness knows, we suffer plenty of them around here.
