TOM FITTON now runs Judicial Watch as its President and should have one hell of a lot to say about this case during tomorrow's Weekend...

Look forward to the broadcast but my question now is where is Jeb Bush?

Well, maybe that woman would not be in that condition if her husband had spent some of that money on rehabilitation.

Just why does a man get to determine she is to die? Who made him God?

I believe that Larry Klayman is the type of man that stands behind his principles when it comes to respect for life.

When it comes to the courts, they don't have respect for life...they view citizens as useless consumers.

There ARE things worse than death you idiots and may all you Pollyanna Rat do-gooders find this out the hard way

And YOU are quite welcome to be offed, dear heart. As long you understand that we don't all share your enthusiasm. The one thing I have learned from all this is that you cannot expect the judicial system to protect the innocent.

you cannot expect the judicial system to protect the innocent.

You are now learning why crime victims call our 'justice' system the INJUSTICE system. Our 'justice' system has become a JOKE. It works better for the guilty, than for the crime victim.

It takes years of dealing with the INJUSTICE system to learn the hard way that it is BROKE thanks to liberal do gooders of all kinds.

Thank you, Sam. To a layperson, the right, authority, duty for others to step in and stop this madness seems overwhelming...yet the judiciary continues to dismiss these protests with an airy wave of their collective hands. This is a watershed case for the "right-to-die" gang (more accurately: right-to-kill). They're not going to let stumbling blocks like "rights" and "decency" and "morality" and "innocence" and "abuse & neglect" stand in their way.

Thanks for posting. Seems like anyone could have done this at just about any time years ago.

The fact that Judical Watch has 'taken' this case is surely the kiss of death for this poor woman.

"I read in another post that a family member of Terri's saw Michael Schiavo at the mall today."

Well, he probably has a lot of shopping to do in preparation for his upcoming wedding now that it looks like his wife will soon be out of the way. If the funeral conflicts with the wedding date, wonder which he will change. Wonder if he will deny her parents having a memorial service for her. Charming man.

Why did he have to resign from his 'job' to run for political office?

I agree with you that there are worse things that can happen than dying and going to the comforting arms of my Savior. A friend of mine (who lost a parent to a long and painful struggle with cancer) first shared that with me when it was one of my own family who was dying a lingering death, and I was the one who couldn't "let go". I lost my sister, and it was her husband, along with my parents, who had to make the decision to remove her from life support. What a nightmare it would have been if they had chosen that time to disagree.

Maybe I have a different perspective of this situation because of my experience, but I would think that Terri's parents, if they are people of faith, would WANT to see her in God's hands rather than under her "husband's" uncaring thumb. Before I get flamed, let me say that Michael Schiavo's conduct has been despicable as well as suspicious, and the court system let Terri down at her moment of greatest vulnerability. But I also believe that we sometimes cling to people for our own comfort rather than allowing them to be at rest.

Very good points, I've been through the same myself, but this is a different situation entirely. Terri is not terminal any more than we all are and no Judge has the right to order death of a innocent human being.

I made a group of posts saying the same things you said in your post. I hope you realize that we are both nontheless "shills for the cult of death." [I also lost my younger sister to breast cancer when she was 38. She left 3 school-age children behind. My mother recently passed away after having made the decision not "to linger." She was 86. We honored her living will and made sure that the doctors respected her DNR request.]

Thanks for your comments. I agree that Terri doesn't appear terminal (what are HER doctors saying to all the courts that they won't stop this travesty, I wonder?), and that that sorry excuse for a husband shouldn't have control over her destiny. But terminal or not, she's wrongfully being imprisoned in this life by Michael, the courts, when she could be joyful and free in a better one, and I would think her parents would want her free of this monster.

Also, I do believe what the Bible says about how God's power can be revealed through prayer and fasting. I am praying for her recovery BECAUSE of her removal from the feeding tubes (God's power), and not for the restoration of them (man's control).
