Did you have a sense that something like this was going to happen, even when you guys had a four run lead? I only had that ominous feeling when Little left Pedro in too long. You knew it, I knew it, the world knew it, except Little and Martinez.

Yep. But the Manager will never admit it and will take the fall.

I don't see the Yanks losing with their pitching and the home advantage.
Yanks starters are shaky and their bullpen is blown.

No, I mean from a fatalistic, Red-Sox-will-find-a-way-to-blow-it perspective, not a Grady-Little-is-an-idiot perspective That risk is always present. Hell, it's no friggin secret. I was preaching that before the Sox advanced to play the Yankees!

I'm pulling for the Marlins too...
well, really I'm against all those obnoxious Yankee fans :)

Hello all. I didn't log on the whole time the game was going, as I didn't want to jinx the Yankees. What an incredible game for the ages! Sorry, Red Sox fans, but your team did make these games exciting.

Be honest. Did you have a sense that something like this was going to happen, even when you guys had a four run lead? Of course. It's what the Red Sox do best...choke against the Yankees. I hate the Yankees with a passion, but right now I hate Grady Little with almost murderous intent. Almost.... (So cool your jackboots, internet gestapo)

Yup -- and sorry I didn't mention this before, buy ya' a beer? I'm going for another. Thanks, just grabbed one myself. I must tell ya. Never had as much fun watching baseball. Great game. And to some extent, I can sympathize with you - I'm a Buffalo Bills fan.

If the Cubs and Red Sox played a series right now for nothing more than to see whose curse is worse, it would draw more of an audience than the Yankees and Marlins.Well, I hate to be the bearer of a technicality, but with nothing at stake, such a series would prove nothing.

Another boring series. Who cares? Then why are you on this thread?

I thought Hillary was a Cubs fan. I thought she morphed into a Yankees fan when she became Senator. Or was that a Mets fan?
