You don't need a ventilator in a vegitative state. Only the brain stem need to be functional to breath.

What course of action? What did Germans do when Hitler took power and started murdering people? They had choices, and each person chose.
Dicking around in the courts has become not very productive. It shouldn't be given up - some people have become lawyers to further the cause of life and natural family, such as Scott Lively (author of "The Pink Swastika") but not everyone has the intellect, temperant or money for that.

At the very least, major Freeping, and getting people elected who are righteous human beings instead of purchased scum.

I'm open to ideas.

I am not opposed to the idea of direct action, in the form of civil disobedience, as in the civil rights movement in the early 60's.

Why are these people here on this thread? They don't look at the videos on the website which is almost everyones taglines. What is happening to Terri is the most deplorable thing I have ever witnessed in my life and I'm 53 years old.

I have been praying for something miraculous. In the Bible David prayed for God to destroy his enemies and that is Terri's only hope it seems, for God to intervene in some way. I can't believe that this is happening, that she has not even been given a chance to get better. Maybe
her parents would be able to let her go if she has at least been given a chance at rehab and she didn't improve, but to be in the situation as it is now is absolutely unthinkable. I have had trouble sleeping praying and thinking about it. What if it was your daughter? Michael's girlfried might not want to consider marrying him, she could end up the same way.
Spit in the face is too good for Michael Schiavo IMO.

And it is so hard to comprehend that God would allow this to happen. It certainly has to be a wake up call for us. David didn't slay Goliath just by praying about it he had to 'do' something. What we do , I don't know but this certainly should never be allowed to happen again. The parents only want their daughter....and he won't let them have her.


Floridians went brain dead when it was time to re-elect our Supremes. We need to make sure that we campaign against Judge Greer next year. For him to be so in cahoots with M Schiavo is so suspicious to me that I can't stand it. It seems there has to be more than meets the eye.

You really just don't get it. NOBODY KNOWS if she can eat by mouth. Schiavo and Judge Greer will not even allow her to be tested for this. They are taking out her feeding tube and refusing to allow her to eat by mouth. THIS IS MURDER!

I've heard Michael Schiavo stands to collect a life insurance policy on Terri. Is this true? Sure sounds like an ulterior motive to me. Especially since he's shacked up with a woman while he's still married to Terri.

I hope there's some way to reverse this feeding tube removal before it's too late. But if she ends up dying an agonizing death over a period of a week, wouldn't it be just awful if Michael also somehow died a slow, agonizing death? I would sure hate to hear that.
