Next step is allowing parents to have sick or deformed babies killed. Up until a month old I think.

Next step has already come upon us. 3 years ago I saw with my own eyes the NICU staff at St. Mary's in West Palm Beach emphatically declare that they had no moral obligation to feed a newborn baby boy because he was born with a brain anomaly. The adoptive parents were called "pathetic" because they interferred with the staffs goal of killing the baby. They could not imagine anyone wanting this baby and watched this baby go from 5lbs to 3 lbs something in the 2 weeks before the adoptive family found out about him and got to his side.

Another baby's bassinet was covered with a blanket for at least a day, no feeding, no IV, no mom or dad, no one holding that precious little one. Eventually that baby was wheeled away when he/she died.

Not all hospitals condone and behave this way, but it is happening already. Sad and pathetic commentary but true.

Do you think hospices in all other states are like this one in Pinellas Co.? I did not know of such hospice abuse until Terri's fight came along.

It seems that this hospice has both Democrats and Republicans on its board. The fix is always in, it seems.

When my late wife was diagnosed with cancer, we both made out a Medical Power of Attorney as a back up to a living will. Neither of us wanted to be stuck in this situation. Without clear cut legally binding papers on file a person can be stuck to a machine for years – as in this case.
Neither of us wanted to be artificially sustained, and we both went beyond “brain dead” to disallow any artificial means of life support – to include artificial feeding.
This woman is, for all practical purposes dead. Only her anatomic nerves function. She can breathe. Her heart beats and her eyes blink when they dry out. That is (in my opinion and the opinion of many others) not “living”. It isn’t even existing.

Pegita, I don't think we have uncovered that as truth, it was just an idea I had. It would be interesting but I don't think it's true, at least not that we have found yet. We do have to keep following the paper trail. I'm sure it leads us somewhere. We still cannot figure out the whole linkage, though I'm sure there is one. It's all very coincidental, if there is no link.

I know hospice rules do not allow treatment for disabled people. Terri never should have been in hospice, she was never terminal (of course now they will say she is)

I know several people who died while under the care of hospice. They all died the same way..not from their illness...but from dehydration and starvation.

You guys did it the right way. My concern is whether or not Terri actually requested this. I know my wife has stated she would not want it several times, and we do not have it documented, I plan on getting that down in writing and notarized if that is what she really wants. But this one IMO is too uncertain.

My precious Dear, God has not let Terri down.

God has His plan in place. Nothing can come our way but by His Grace.
I know it feels that way, right now. But I assure you, that Jehovah God, our Father, knows very well that we are suffering as a group and individually as well.

I don't know why this is working out like this. But take comfort.......she is not gone at this time.

If God in His Wisdom has called her home........we as His people simply have to trust that He is at the helm. He is our Father and He allows nothing except what is for our good and His Glory.

Please don't blame God! for the Word says, our battle is NOT against flesh and blood but against the rulers, against powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in heavenly places. Eph. 6:11

It also says .......for the thief comes but for to steal, kill and destroy......but Jesus said I came that you might have life, and that life more abundantly. John 10:10

Also Heb. 9:27 says ....it is appointed unto man, once to die, after this the judgement. We each have a day marked with our name. Whether it is in war, sickness, so called accidents, murder, or by the hand of those that hate life. God has that day appointed!!! BUT the wrongful death will be punished on earth or in judgement! And sometimes both! We are but as a breath, or as a vapor... James4:14.

Romans 9 says God is in control of life, and where we are in life, so..... Either we believe the Scriptures or we don't. I have believed them! They are life to me. I hope you can get some comfort as I do for all of us, just trusting God.

I am not God so as to know what He has planned. But I do what I can as His child and believe Him for the rest. I can only find peace in the Word of God. I don't know what He has planned for this. But I do know that in trial.....we need be driven TO Him, not from Him!!! That's what the enemy wants.

I hope this can give you some comfort. Just know that He cares for Terri and her family MORE than we do.

You have clearly not seen the affidavits of the nurses who tried to care for Terri, or the videos of her. She responds - she laughs at appropriate times, she is excited to see her mother, and get this - from a WorldNetDaily story today - clandestine therapy in which a therapist speaking to Terri by cell phone told her that if she did not improve they would take out her feeding tube resulted in this: she sat up in bed and began to attempt to get out of bed, when she couldn't she started to cry.

Yeah, I am sure that is just the old autonomic nervous system...just reflexes. Yeah.

I'm curious, what would you have him do?
Would you have him subvert the constitution he is bound to uphold?
Would you have him perform an illegal act?
What would you have him do?

IF you feel so strongly that he should break laws and disregard the trust he has in his office, what are you doing?

I've been reading people rant and rave about how one man should wave a magic wand and make it all better for a long time now on these threads. It's sickening.

IF you think someone should break the law and subvert the constitution to protect this lady... DO IT YOURSELF!

Don't expect someone else to live out your dreams of superman for you. By golly what would our world be like if George Washington sat on his arse saying 'That other guy is a fraud he won't fight in a revolution'.
