Anyone who got in my way would be another number in a body count.Yeah, if I were in the parents' position, it would be everything I could do to stop myself from blasting her hubby after he let my daughter die.

Your post # 21:
"....bulimia...." can not serve to explain away the multiple bone fractures discovered by x-ray after her so-called collapse. This evidence has been the spark of speculation that Terri was a victim of physical abuse.

Just came back from Mass, offered for Terri, I had a thought during Communion. I know he has blocked her from having a priest in the past - is he planning to deny her the Last Rites?
If I could possibly get to Florida, I would be outside the "hospice" holding a sign saying "Do you dare deny her the Eucharist?"
What a miracle if she could receive it, in front of neutral witnesses. I remember several Eucharistic Miracles where people lived for years on the Eucharist alone.

How do I gain access to the deposition you reference in your post # 23?

I'm very sorry about your wife, but I'm afraid you really don't understand. Terri is not terminal and quite likely could have (and still could) benefit greatly with therapy. Her husband has refused to use the money he won in a malpractice lawsuit awarded for her care and rehabilitation. He wants her dead - he deserves no compassion. If you knew all the facts of this case you would see that his situation has nothing to do with what you went through.
Again, I am very sorry for what you and your wife went through. God bless you.

Today is the feast day of St. Theresa.
Christ has no body now on earth but yours,
no hands but yours, no feet but yours;
yours are the eyes through which Christ's compassion looks out on the world,
yours are the feet with which He is to go about doing good
and yours are the hands with which He is to bless us now." -- St. Theresa

We got through to a spokesperson at the Hospice.
Left our phone number for the family, explained that my son is way more medically fragile than Terri and no one is removing his g tube, let them know the whole world is watching and our prayers are with Terri.
They will pass on info but no info will be revealed due to privacy.
So folks the phone lines are open at the facilty where Teri is.

Tragically, things seem to have deteriorated beyond legal remedy.

I thought the x-rays were taken a lot later. Anyway the source of her injuries doesn't have any relevance to the situation at hand. I wouldn't want to be killed like that regardless of the source of my injuries. Also I don't think the speculating about what might have happened helps make her current case. I happen to think it detracts from it since we are trying to prove the value of a human life, not the evil of Michael.

A few years ago Mr. Schiavo and his wife Terri were headed for divorce, so for some reason, he tried to kill her. He's trying to kill her now, is that not good enough? Don't make stuff up.

What is so frustrating in my 24yrs of exp. is that people either get it or they don't.
I do not waste energy trying to convince those that don't.
Terri's situation is different though as she is going to be neglected until her death.

Thanks for the clarification. I didn't truly understand his motives until I had a chance to read the entire thing at the website for Terri. Whaile I wouldn't wish on anyone what has happened to Terri I just might make exception in his case...and thanks again for the thoughts.

She's not in a coma. And thirteen years surviving in this torture environment of isolation while being able to recognize her visitors is excellent evidence that Terri has a strong will to live!
