Anyone who uses these pain drugs for and length of time for chronic pain relief gets addicted. ANYONE!
The length of time it takes and the degree of addiction varies with the 24hr dose and number of consecutive days taken. For everyday uses it is a given and CANNOT be avoided in any way.
About once per year, I withdraw voluntarily so that I can continue to get pain relief and keep the dosing down to the lowest level I can, however the increased consumption is practically unavoidable over time.
