During Isabel we had phone lines but the power went out for about 8/9 hours .. I sure hope that doesn't happen again

I lost my phone and my cable - but not my power. What a bite that was - no FR........and no FNC..............I started to go a little loony!!!!

When I finally got back on line, after 19 hours, I was shocked, amazed, awed, and touched all at the same time with the number of posts to me, about me and FReepmails I had waiting for me.

I had been on the live hurricane thread and then just dropped out.

Freepers noticed and FReepers were concerned and worried. There was even an altercation between a few folks when someone questioned why anyone was worried about me and mine because it wasn't that big of a deal of a storm. I don't even remember who all I responded to the next day and how many hours it took - but it was such a wonderful feeling that so many people that haven't met me and don't even know me were so concerned about me.

In many instances I felt horribly guilty because folks wondering about me, were actually in worse shape than me. I only lost my phone line. They had no power or water for days.

But as we have been saying for oh so long - FREEPERS ROCK!!!!!!!!!
