The exact wording is:
"The dogs followed a track that ultimately led them to the body of water where the victims' bodies were recovered".I suppose it could be interpreted several ways. Anyone else want to give their interpretation?

I don't get it. You mean they haven't done DNA testing on that hair yet? I thought it was a root hair and that DNA testing would tell us whether it was Laci's or not. Now, they say it MAY have come from Laci, but not Scott.

How many ways can you take that??? I think THAT is powerful. I was the SPCA President in my City for 5 years. And each year we would have a fundraiser called the Wiggle Waggle Walk a Thon. At that fundraiser, we had the RCMP Dog Handlers do a demonstration with their dogs. They always did a demonstration with the drug sniffing dogs. They would "really" hide different drugs in the oddest places. They hid heroin, cocaine, speed, weed and barbituates. Those dogs were incredible. They never failed to find the hidden drugs. (The dogs were brought to the Park AFTER they hid the drugs)!! Really interesting to watch those rascals.

Sure they have. They said they had MITOCHONDRIAL DNA matching Laci. I remember Nancy Grace and Pixley arguing on LKL on it's relevancy. Of course Pixley says it's NOT very effective but it is. If you read up on it. It is EXTREMELY effective but it only matches the MOTHER of the deceased persons DNA.

The way I read it,DNA testing showed the hair could not have came from Scott,but may have came from Laci.

from the way it reads, in the court docs, that the dogs lead to a body of water which later Laci or the bodies of the missing persons were discovered. So, I take it that they had those dogs over there too! Two places, two different dates, or continuious in the search.. Which is why they kept going back to the Marina....and also German Shepherds I saw in news pics too!

You and me both. I have to believe that most CA Prosecutors learned a lot of what NOT to do in a trial from the Simpson case. I can remember after the trial someone said there was an older black lady on the Jury that couldn't remember the name of the person who sat beside her every Court day for 10 solid months!! YUP she got that DNA stuff alright. UGH!!

Shoot I can read the pdf at home. I don't know what Frey vs United States means. As to the DNA I just remember Nancy Grace and Pixley. Nancy stated it as though it had been tested and I recall a news blurb or a Prosecutor or LE Statement that they intended to introduce Mitochondrial DNA. That's what got all the talk going. Nobody came out and said it was hooey!! I guess we'll find out soon I hope. I had to go and get out of my work clothes. PJ's are much more comfortable than skirts!! LOL

You mean the document said "potential" DNA match? If it said that it could have been BEFORE the actual results were in. I KNOW that Nancy Grace had talked with a LE source that said the DNA Mitochondrial match had been established. Yes, it means the Mito/DNA in the root of Laci's hair would ONLY match Sharon's DNA.

That might be fun working with Ahnold.!! I hope he turns out to be a good Governor. I think he's sincere. I am more the McClintock type of Conservative but that kind of Conservative could NEVER win in California. I do hope Arnold includes McClintock in his team tho. I don't know about the rest of you but just from my own observation, I think Arnold is more Conservative than he lets on. By that I mean I think he's more conservative on Moral issues than he lets on. Maria Shriver may be also. Arnold always stuck out to me in any of his movies that I watched because I cannot recall a single movie where he said the "F" word or where he was in any steamy sex scene. I always liked the fact that he never used foul language or did the real raw sex scenes. Mel Gibson is another. Oooh what a hunk Mel is. Tom Selleck isn't bad either. Not sure of the interpretation, except that we just heard that the dogs hit at the warehouse and now we hear they hit at the bay. I sure am curious if they hit at the boat in the warehouse!
