"Florida Democratic Party Chairman Scott Maddox and Sen. Bill Nelson both have made pitches to Graham in the past week, urging him to stick around Washington. While both said Graham did not share his intentions,"
Everyone in Washington thinks Graham won't run, and I tend to believe it.

Maybe someone out there knows what Sen. Bob Graham is going to do now that his presidential campaign has ended and his Senate seat is up for grabs in 2004. Bob Graham was running for President? . . . when?

I don't know if you could call it retiring?
Its more of a firing by the voters isn't it?
He's effectively quitting before he is allowed to be replaced???

The 'rats have a big problem, a number of Senators who want to retire have republican governors.
To: Pubbie
He is said to be considering a vice presidential nod or a Cabinet position in a Democratic administration I wouldn't be holding my breath for that Democratic administration anytime soon...
To: ConservativeMan55
He'd face a tough reelection bid because his job approval has fallen to 47% according to Mason Dixon.
This drop for Graham shows that he has been damaged by his Liberal Presidential campaign.

I don't think he's thinking about retiring now but rather not running for re-election. The GOP has to earn the seat through an election, not through a governor's appointment.
Hope he does't run...this would be a nice GOP seat to pick up.

Graham likely won't run since the Dimocrats have all but given up hope of retaking the Senate. They're just trying not to lose seats now.

I don't know if anybody else has tracked this guy, but he is genuinely psychotic. I mean he is very bizarre.

Anyone think Jeb might run for this seat? I think not because W needs him as Gov. to help win Fl, but I'm not a genius on these things.
