I enjoyed the novel and passed it on to a friend. I'll buy the next one as soon as it comes out.
Only think I can say is "Bigger guns! We need bigger guns! Big effing guns!"
Can a Reaper really cut open a safe with just its claws and muscle power?

Another review I made of Freeper snake65's (E.E. Knight) book. His books, like yours, are also actually published by the traditional method...quite an accomplishment, and for good reason too.

Did you go the route of 'self publishing' or did a major house pick it up?

He was picked up (and very deservedly so) by a PenguinPutnam imprint called Roc.

Yes they are. Snake65 (E.E. Knight) had the second in this series,
Choice of the Cat just published as well, by the same house.

Actually it was kind of a strange road to publication.
Originally an experimental imprint by AOL/TW Book Group called iPublish put it out as an ebook/Print-On-Demand. It had an editor, cover art, all that, so it wasn't self published.
They imploded in Dec 2001 with a lot of other dot-coms...my agent reverted the rights to me again (because they failed to publish the second book) and we were able to sell it to Penguin Group (who put it out in September 2003 through Roc).
WOLF did well, it's in its third printing now and the next in the series, CHOICE OF THE CAT, seems to be selling well.
Anyway, that's my story. Thanks Jeff!

A great story...just shows what commitment and perserverence can do!
I wish you the absolute very best as your series continues. I know you have a GREAT future in store.
