Good morning, friends. This report is all over the place IMO. Pick out your favorite paragraphs and let's discuss them! For one thing, why is the St. Pete Times hung up once again what everyone's skin color is? We're all Americans, many who are joining the conservative movement.

Finally, the travel agent who just doesn't like the Bush Family, she attended the event and apparently, even in the midst of the war on terror, she's still employed. Floriduh Voter

That's always my question. I understand demographic breakdowns, I applaud cultural differences, and I admit minorities face unique challenges, but why in the world are the media and NAACP always focusing on someone's skin color? It's so ironic, so counterintuitive. Maybe one day skin color will be nothing more than a physically descriptive trait.

When Florida's voters try out the new touch screens, the touch screens won't be discerning what color the voters are. Why are the libs always trying to sort people into groups - color, poor v. rich, vouchers vs. public schools. Christians v. atheists? Libs cannot justify their existence unless they create a contrived controversy.

MEANWHILE, I am happy to report that President Bush maintains a favorable rating of 69%. Gee, Americans really like a man who doesn't lie, steal or cheat on his wife in the Oval Office and elsewhere. Bubba wore America out, scandal after scandal.

That was Bubba's legacy in addition to not going after bin laden after the 1993 tower attack, etc. And HRC? Not giving money back to Enron? What a greedy little Senator.

As a general rule, if Democrats ran on their "ideas," they'd lose. They have little choice but to resort to class warfare and attacks.

Unfortunately it's proven good for them, though bad for our country.

Don't know if this has been mentioned yet on another thread, but I LOVE Jeb's commercial with Reno & McBride tap-dancing and avoiding questions about the issues. It cracks me up every time!

I think she did give the Enron money back, but kept the Imclone/walsal dinero. Apparently, for HRC, some money is dirtier than other money.

I think Jeb's got Tampa Bay locked up because they're not spending their commercial dollars here. But, then ran last week and I LOVED THEM. Loved the briefcase and suit the McLawyer dancer wore. And Reno's support hose - hilarious!

Maybe they have a State Chair of the United Negro College Fund and he has been invited to be that Chair because of his focus on reading & education, contrary to what the teachers unions say about him.

Jeb's been given a bunch of awards by all kinds of groups. He's a high achiever when it comes to public service and that's the quote from the Times. The leftist Fla. papers are pushing the divisive race issue because that's how they get out the Dem. vote...by fearmongering and racebaiting. Why wasn't this "article" on the OP-ed pages? St. Pete, Pinellas County, is NOT a Democratic county yet this ultra-liberal paper continued to claim that it was post election 2000, to cover up the voting irregularities that gave this county to Gore. No way in a fair election, based on the rest of the county's stats and with a Republican majority did Gore legally take Pinellas.

No one puts more faith in this proposition than the Vice President's lawyers: Given the time, they know, Democratic counters in Democratic counties seeking more votes for the Democratic candidate for President will find them. Indeed, Time.com already reports that when helpful election officials in Pinellas County, which went for Al Gore, "removed the chaff from ballots before they were submitted for recount by the machines, Gore-Lieberman picked up an additional 417 votes."

I need closure. An apology to Republicans nationwide would be a start...the congressional record expunged, Florida taxpayers getting their money back from the USCCR extortionists (along with an apology). Racism? No. Ms. Berry, do you beat your husband?

RE your post #8 - I enjoy that commercial too, Amore. The tone is light and fun, but the message is serious.

Even though some editorials said they disagreed with the accusation -- of those Dem candidates evading the death penalty and school grades (though I have not heard any Dem candidate mention these issues) -- Gov Bush's people could easily change the audio to include a host of other issues: where is Reno on education? On technology? etc.

I hope that spot runs a long time. I really like it a lot.

Re your post #10 - I don't understand your comment - Gov. Bush actually has hired more women and minorities in top level positions than any other FL gov, including past Dem govs. Some black leaders know this, and are not ignoring it.

Yeah, where's the IDEAS from Dem candidates in this FL gov race? They are so devoid of ideas, it's sad to watch. All they do is attack Gov Bush - who has LOTS of ideas and a great record to run on. Dem candidates do nothing positive. They're not inspiring at all. No wonder 30% of FL Dems said they would vote for Gov. Bush. I bet even more Dems will vote for him on Election Day.
