Also interesting to note that Mr. Crenshaw attempted to quallify by petition but aparently could not gather enough signatures and ended up paying the fee.... hmmm...
Another interesting fact.. I have left several messages for Mr. Crenshaw and have yet to recieve a return phone call... how many of you have had the same problem.. appears to be MUCH less accessable durring this election....
Passing it on..

Do you have any articles regarding the FL state supreme court decision as unconstitutional regarding school vouchers? I need to alert some people about it. Thanks.

Well, I'm expressing puzzlement as to her challenge of Crenshaw. Crenshaw is amongst the most Conservative GOP'ers in FL (92% rating from ACU), only Ric Keller (96%) scored higher Pueschel sounds like nothing more than a fringe candidate. The complaint is that Crenshaw does not show "leadership?" Maybe he's just not a showhorse. If a conservative with a good record is in there, I say leave him alone.

That sounds like an elitest arguement... Crenshaw seems to be a middle of the road conservite... while Deb is a REAL conservative.. I have a serious problem with the idea that we should just "keep the incumbant" that is what the primary election is all about... you should look at Pueschel's positions and experience and you will see that she is by far the better candidate

Looks good David!
BTW, I finally found out about Katherine being pro-life for sure.
I'll pass the stuff on as soon as I dig my hard drive out.

Is there anything published on her website about her position...?
To: davidosborne
No, but she spoke about it during a debate with Hill, I think.
It was published in the Bradenton Herald.

I think it would be very helpfull if candidates published their positions on these "controversial" issues on their websites.. that way we are not caught off guard when the don't vote the same way we thought they would based off some speech they made... many people say they are "pro-life" but when it comes down to it they will vote to aboloish abortion.. that is NOT pro-life that is pro-political-corectness..

David

"Seems....Real." By whose perception? Yours? Let me guess what the REAL issue here is.....Which of these candidates promised to support a certain David Osborne for the Senate in 2004. It couldn't possibly have been Pueschel? Eh, David? Oh, I forgot. You promised you would be different because you wouldn't play political games such as endorsement swapping. Glad to see you've kept your political purity....I think.

" Nader is not the only person on the receiving end of pro-abortion criticism. Abortion advocates have joined the effort to cast dispersions on the credibility of Florida Secretary of State Katherine Harris.
Harris was one of Florida's prized converts on the issue of abortion by recently converting to the pro-life perspective. Prior to becoming Secretary of State, during a campaign for state senator, Harris ran as a "pro-choice" Republican, but became pro-life while serving in the state legislature.
After becoming pro-life, she supported an override to former Gov. Lawton Chiles' (D) veto of a "partial-birth" abortion ban and sponsored parental consent legislation in the Florida legislature. In addition, as secretary of state, Harris voted to approve Florida's "Choose Life" license plates. Florida Right to Life has given her perfect marks since her change of heart. " lifecorner.org
I can't find the stuff from the Debate but Hill was "pro-choice" till trimester 3, Katherine was "anti-abortion" opposed PBA, and favored PN except in cases of incest... it was classic media bias. Harris "anti-abortion" and Hill "pro-choice."
I checked opensecrets and Katherine's gotten $2,511 from pro-life pacs.

Hmmmm.. now aren't you jumping to conclusions just a little bit.... I support Deborah on the ISSUES and she has made NO promises to me whatsoever.. I refuse to endorse an incumbant republican just because we are "supposed to".. that is what a primary election is all about as I stated earlier... It just so happens this is a defacto-primary for the 4th District being that there is NO democrat in the race... I am just asking people to look at the issues and the leadership ability of Deborah as opposed to Ander and vote accordingly..

Thanks for the information...

I support Deborah on the ISSUES and she has made NO promises to me whatsoever.. Funny, I don't recall you mentioning any disagreement with Crenshaw. Oh, now I remember. He doesn't "SEEM" like the right person and he hasn't provided "leadership." Pretty thin gruel there for a rationale for defeating him. BTW, have you ever contacted Crenshaw in the recent past? If so, what did you discuss?

Pretty thin gruel there for a rationale for defeating him. BTW, have you ever contacted Crenshaw in the recent past? If so, what did you discuss? Have you forgotten what a PRIMARY election is all about????.. it is not about DEFEATING anyone.. it's about selecting the best candidate to represent ALL Republicans.... Of course I suspect you are one of the many ELITE Republicans who support the incumbant middle of the road politician.. rather than the best candidate to represent the people in the district..... this is a sad trend in America which I hope to see an end to in my lifetime..
And yes I have tried several times to contact Mr. Crenshaw, I met him once here in Leon County and listened to a typical "please elect me" speech, without saying anything about where he stands on the issues facing America today... that was really disapointing to me.... it was not appropriate to engage him in debate at his own fundraiser but I made it clear I was supporting Deborah Katz Pueschel (R-FL-4)...
