I don’t doubt they might try. I don’t think it would work. In a close election of this sort it is a cynical ploy that would lead some voters to Trump or not vote. I am saying if they pull the switcheroo it has to be earlier to be successful.
Doesn't a candidate have to file well in advance to be on any state ballot? I don't think they can just put someone on there at the last minute. It would have to be one of the candidates who ran in the primary, but it would be interesting to see if Big Mike Obama or Crusty Pant Suit secretely filed.
If you’re right, Trump wins. Simple as that.
